The new form of urban mobility
Clayton Bikes stands for a new form of urban mobility. Since 2022, we have been developing e-bikes that impress with their minimalism, sophisticated design, and simple handling. Our team of bicycle and design enthusiasts has a clear goal. Mobility should not only be functional, but also stylish. Our bikes combine functionality and state-of-the-art technology with timeless elegance.
History

                Born in Hamburg
Driven by a passion for bicycles and product design, we developed our first model series, Clayton O1, in 2022. Initially sold only in our store in Hamburg, the bike quickly became popular among urban cyclists who value a sleek, timeless aesthetic, low weight, and ease of use. From the very beginning, we have taken a stand against the angular and futuristic design language of many current e-bikes on the market.
After three years and an intensive development phase in collaboration with a team of developers from Portugal and the Netherlands, we launched the Clayton O2, the further development of the first model series, in the summer of 2025.

New models. New features. Proven design.
The new Clayton O2 model series has been available in Germany for a few months now - also as a classic comfort version with low step-through frame and particularly convenient for everyday use thanks to its removable battery. As with the previous model, we rely on our own design paired with components from leading manufacturers such as Shimano and Gates to guarantee the highest quality and maximum durability.
The latest innovations from the bicycle market are the integrated dual-speed motor from Bafang® and the integrated lighting from LightSkin®. Production and quality control are now taking place in Portugal. From 2026, we will be offering test rides in several major cities in Germany and expanding into Denmark later this year.
Manufactured in Portugal
All our models are manufactured in Portugal to the highest European standards, using state-of-the-art production technology and comprehensive quality testing. Short transportation routes also ensure a reliable and efficient supply chain.
